Penny joined AstraZeneca in 2004 as Vice President, U.S. Human Resources. During her tenure, she is credited with building an industry-leading workforce and helping to establish a successful strategic direction for the company’s U.S. business. Penny began her career in 1987 as a Tax Associate with Coopers & Lybrand. During her 10 years there, she assumed the lead role for human resources in the tax business division. She later served as Vice President-Human Resources for CIGNA Corporation and the Internet Capital Group

Global management consulting firm Booz & Company today announced that Thomas A. Stewart has been appointed Chief Marketing and Knowledge Officer (CMKO). Stewart most recently served as editor and managing director of Harvard Business Review, and is a best-selling author, an authority on intellectual capital and knowledge management, and an influential thought leader on global management issues and ideas.
In his new position, Stewart will lead Booz & Company’s marketing, intellectual capital and knowledge management efforts. He will manage the firm’s team of marketing and knowledge management professionals and work with its global partners to build on the firm’s broad and robust foundation of world recognised thought leadership on the future direction of business.

Rob Briner is Professor of Organizational Psychology and Head of the School of Management and Organizational Psychology. His research focuses on the reciprocal links between work and various aspects of well-being such as moods and emotions. His other interests include the psychological contract at work, absence, ethnicity, work-nonwork relationships, and contextual performance. He is also involved with a number of evidence-based management initiatives.
